Just pulled these foccacia stix out of the oven. You should smell my kitchen.

Quick Foccacia stix

Had a frozen pizza dough in the freezer. Wanted to make something like what my mama used to make, using leftover bread dough. We would enjoy them with olives, grana padano cheese broken into bite size pieces and some sopressata dry sausage.

Pass the red wine 🍷

Ingredients:

I pizza dough, cut into long strips, about 1-1/2 inches wide

Chopped plum tomatoes

Fresh basil, torn

Salt

1/2 cup Olive oil

1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh chopped garlic (you can used powdered)

Directions:

Cut up the pizza strips and place on prepared cookie sheet, close together, twisting them.

Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl. Top the mixture on top of each strip.

Cover with Saran wrap and let stand for 1 hour.

Remove wrap and place into 450 degree oven for 15 minutes.

Don't burn!
