You'll never enjoy noodles any other way

Garlicky Butter and Oil Sauce

I was tired of making the noodles the same old way, so I tweaked the butter and milk way....a lot!

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter

1 large onion chopped to measure 1 cup

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup broth, any kind

1/4 cup olives oil or you can use vegetable oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped fresh parsley

Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Melt butter in saucepan. Saute onion and garlic until they become soft, not brown.

Add broth and olive oil and let simmer for 3 minutes.

Stir in the parsley, salt and pepper.

Pour sauce over 8 oz cooked noodles. Top with parmesan cheese. Mix very well to coat all of the noodles.

Note:

You can substitute scallions or leeks for the onions.
