What a way to start the recipe

It's Too Hot! Let's make an ice cream pie

Easy Ice Cream Pie

1 ready made Graham cracker crust

1 quart container of vanilla ice cream

4 granola bars, oatmeal cookies, or my favorite Oreo cookies, crushed.

(Take out your frustrations on the cookies by putting them in a ziploc bag and crush with mallot or rolling pin.)

Added toppings

Let ice cream sit out of the freezer till a little soft. Pour into bowl and add your preferred crumbled cookies. Mix thoroughly and put in pie shell.

At this point, you can add chocolate syrup on top of ice cream filling. You can be very creative adding M&M's, sprinkles, nuts, etc.

Cover with plastic and place in freezer for at least 2 hours. Before serving, top with Cool Whip. 

Dig in.... remember to cut with wet knife
